A verified directory of businesses where owners prove domain ownership through DNS records.
Headquartz is a business directory that requires domain verification through DNS TXT records. Every entry, called a Quartz, represents a business whose owner has proven control of their domain by setting a single DNS record.
The directory serves three primary use cases: founders looking for peers building similar products, businesses searching for service providers in categories like accounting, legal, SEO, and tax preparation, and entrepreneurs validating ideas against existing businesses. Discovery matches user queries against what each business describes about itself, without algorithmic ranking or paid placement.
The platform launched in April 2026 and currently indexes one verified business. It organizes entries across 28 categories and allows verified owners to edit their listings, delete their entries, and manage sub-path submissions. Headquartz itself appears in its own directory as a Quartz, alongside its parent organization Merendon Cloud.
This Quartz is one of a kind — for now.
Every business needs accounting, hosting, payments, legal, design, and copy. These are the Quartzes whose tagline most resembles Headquartz's — the providers most likely to be a good fit.
